Project Information

Supply chain strategy for Floraison will take you through our Brand Overview, Strategy Development Process, Strategy Development, Sourcing Strategy, Placement Strategy and Distribution Strategy.


This project brings together the efforts to develop a global sourcing strategy for Floraison- reinventing Linen. Inspired and created to reinvent linen clothing in the market swaying away from the common frumpy stereotypes and updating the silhouettes that are high fashion luxury. Our products aim to reach the highest level of sustainability possible with the use of eco-friendly linen and natural dyes without compromising on style. The companies main objective is creativity, innovation and the excitement of making a positive impact by using organically sourced natural linen.

Over ten weeks, me and my team formed an extensive approach to manufacturing three styles of women’s woven tops in India, China, and El Salvador. We did in-depth research into each country’s economic, political and social conditions along with the state of their apparel and textile industries. The final country was chosen on the bases of on-going trade relations and tariffs, lead time, and overall costs of products. The risk was analyzed and contingency plan was formulated to understand and come up with a plan to how we can manage them better; without manufacturing cycles, timely shipments.

Our headquarter and distribution center is based in California, Los Angeles as its the IT hub and is home to one of the biggest ports in the United States. It reduces our lead time and makes our distribution easier. This helps to make our supply chain management less complex. Also, our selection of global logistics and transportation services ensure timely flow of products from supplier to consumer. Floraison aims to be as sustainable as possible throughout the supply chain with minimum impact on the environment and wildlife while ensuring luxury quality.
